Family Fun & Dog Day!
Are you ready for some summer fun? This day offers it in all shapes and sizes AND supports dog rescues, addoptions, and health. How can it get any better than that!?!
Come over for a bit or stay for the day! You can even bring a canopy and chairs to relax on the grass if you feel the urge.
The Family Fun & Dog Day has much to offer:

- RAFFLE PRIZES ($1/tickets! - you get one free just for coming!)
- Great food! Like Cookies & Rolled Ice Cream!
All of this is happening in the green grassy area in East Layton in front of Mountain View Baptist Church. Super easy to find, plenty of parking, and lots of space.
Swing by the information booth for your free raffle ticket when you arrive. You might even get some swag!

How it got started
After the first year of the "covid" life, we were all going a little bug-eyed. We wanted to do something safe and supportive of the community so we thought we would help the local shelters by collecting blanket and towels. Then we thought, why not have a couple food trucks. And then we thought, why not have people bring their dogs when they come and play in the field by the office and maybe have a dog obstacle course... Well, the idea caught fire and grew to 25+ booths, 2 food trucks, a dog obstacle course, dog adoptions, and lots of volunteers having a blast of a day!! Channel 2 News even came out for the fun!
As 2022 going, vendors and dog lovers started asking if we were doing it again. If we were, we needed a grassy place (our field was a bit stickily). As we looked, my church and their grassy area came to mind. Mountain View Baptist Church has a huge area, lots of parking AND bathrooms! Yay, no Honey-Buckets! MVBC loves our community and loved the idea of getting involved. They are the hosts and excited to have it there. So am I!
So what started as a cabin fever idea to collect a few things has turned into a family and dog day supporting great canine causes. Who'd a think that could happen! Apparently God had bigger plans that I had thought at first. Cool!
